It’s very nice and not too crowded. I can always do circuit training or swim and/or simply stretch or lift weights. The facility is large, clean and wonderful equipment your classes are pretty great as well. I really enjoy my membership. Pam F.
My local YMCA, Desert Foothills YMCA, Is conveniently located with safe, easy access an ample parking. The front desk staff has always been welcoming, courteous, efficient, and helpful. The facilities and equipment are plentiful and clean.
I am impressed by the number of programs offered by the Y and a very caring staff. I believe the Y offers something for all age groups which is also a plus.
Very friendly place that does a great job building community. Zumba with Shannon is off the charts! Love the equipment, the hours. I've only been using the Y for one year, but it has improved my quality of life greatly. Thank you for all that you do for the community!
I love going to the Y for a number of reasons. The staff is friendly, there's a variety of machines, plenty of classes, and it's close by to my home. I've acquired a nice group of gym friends that I enjoy seeing.I gave it a 9 for how willing I'd be to recommend the Y because of maintenance issues. There are several places on the walls that have needed painting for well over a year. This just looks sloppy makes the place look run down and has the vibe of the Y not caring about keeping it a first class facility for us. The air conditioning unit above the center aisle has been dripping water all last week. Who shows up to dodge mops and buckets on their way to a machine? The mens' rest room needs more frequent check ins. The sink counter is often wet and the paper bins are full to overflowing. And look to see that the floor under the urinals is clean. Oftentimes, particularly after a rain, the windows facing the pool need cleaning badly. Visually, dirty windows there and the others as well, detract from the pleasantness of being there. Again, you're giving the vibe that you don't care about the quality of the client experience. The Y has just lost the vibe of being a first class experience. I hope you can bring it back.
