I really like that it's all based on current science, and it really works! I started at Discover Strength with knee, back, and right shoulder issues, and after working on strengthening the muscles around those body parts, I no longer have those problems! And I had been told that I would need new knees soon. But my knees seem fine now!

The use of evidence-based science. That when something new is discovered/proven you are not afraid to update your knowledge and pass it on to your patrons. Staff are friendly and take pains to greet everyone by name. Staff seem well-trained, highly educated, conscientious and truly there to help. I never hear anyone talking poorly about a co-worker, have any negative body language that gives away feelings about other staff or patrons and all staff seem to focus on giving the best service possible. The professionals seem to know any physical issues you have and check in about it regularly. They seem focused on improving any injury as well as avoiding further injury. They inform you of your gains and celebrate with you. They are professional in forming relationships with people, sharing an appropriate amount of personal information to feel like you have a two-way friendship which builds trust and makes the environment comfortable, like coming home. You feel like you belong. I love so much more than the workout. It’s hard to get yourself to workout, but the combination of wonderful staff, friendly patrons, proven personal gains and a clean, well-maintained environment make it so I don’t miss a session.
Every trainer I have worked with is very knowledgable and they know how to make small adjustments to each exercise to keep good variety as well as intensity. I am currently recovering from a medical procedure and my trainer adapted my workout so that I can continue to work out and stay strong as I heal.
I love that everyone know your name and welcome you into the gym. The staff is so knowledgeable and fix your form and pacing - giving your reminders as you go. They push you to get to that important muscle failure and the whole workout gets done quickly and efficiently.
I love it here! The 1:1 guidance and support is incredible. The definition and strength that I have gained are far greater than any other method I’ve ever followed. I’m going into my 50s with the body confidence of a fit 20 year old. The mental lift of that confidence has made aging a welcome life transition for me.
