I love the fact the organization expanded its building capacity to add additional space that caters to all dog types that come for daycare, boarding or both. The staff is very friendly and treat my pet like its their own. The facility is always clean from my observation of the lobby area, the washroom, and the play areas via video cam. I hate that the prices went up being that other pet daycare organizations are already pricey; however, I can understand due to the massive renovations the organization recently completed. Nonetheless, I will continue to bring my pet her occasionally for a weekend of doggie fun.
Dogtopia of Alexandria is so good because of the people. They are real dog people! They love every dog. They know how important our "fur babies" are to us - members of our families. And they treat every "guest" with love and welcome them into the Dogtopia family. Marla is amazing and Geno and Chelsea at the front desk are exceptional. My dog loves his daytime family at Dogtopia. And I am so grateful for the care they take with my little boy-dog.
Periodic reminders that dogs should have regular flea and tick treatments (e.g., a sign at the front desk periodically.) Another doggie-daycare place always asks, and it helps keep the flea population down.
I loved being able to check in on the webcams. Being a first time dog mom and it being my pup's first stay overnight since I got him from the shelter 3 months ago, it gave me peace of mind.
I also really liked their feedback card they give you to tell you how everything went and the fact they also communicated verbally with me upon pick-up.
I lime the friendliness and understanding that the trainers demonstrate. I always feel that "Maggie " is in a safe place when I bring her for day care. I am happy wuth the convenient hours as well.
