FAST, KNOWLEDGABLE, FRIENDLY SERVICE! My electric bike had a flat rear tire, and I arrived at the shop close to closing time, expecting to leave the bike a few days. But they fixed it right away! I was in and out in about ten minutes, even though a rear wheel on an electric bike can be complicated. Downtown Bicycles really knows their stuff!

I am an avid biker but my bikes have been in storage and each has some repair issues. I have been walking in Northfield thinking about getting my bikes going so I would be more mobile. I went to college here and have found myself settling back in town - I thought to myself 'this looks like a pretty good bike shop' - I happened to be walking downtown just a few days ago and thought what the heck - it's a nice day, the bike shop is open let's see what this is all about --- I came in and Tom was the most generous and spot on person I could have hoped for. They have a great selection of accessories for any biking needs and what I thought was most helpful was when I mentioned my situation and bikes I had through my life and in storage Tom didn't try to sell me the top of the line thing to make a profit - he immediately had an image for what I wanted and it ended up perfect. Doug was getting everything ready lights lock computers I was in and out with some of the best services, products, and great lived experience - I can't think of a transaction on a human and equipment level that could be any better 11/10 stars would recommend

I absolutely love that Tom and his staff are so efficient, so helpful and so good at what they do. I have had my bikes fixed, tuned and diagnosed several times and I trust them with how they keep me safe (and smooth)on the road. I also love that they are a small business, locally owned and operated and they add such value to our community- They will do you right with your cycling needs.
