Like the swimming and the indoor track

My husband and I were downtown for the day and decided to try the downtown Y. The workout room is well equipped and the machines are in good condition. There is a track right in the room which seems like an efficient use of space and a convenience for working out. The programs seemed to be interesting and for a broad range of ages.

Ms. Mel was awesome during my son’s swimming lessons in February! He is already more comfortable in the water and more aware of being safe in just a month of lessons. We look forward to the lessons in March! How

The hours the Y is open allows ample opportunity for me to get in when I want. The work-out area is good, allowing for me to move about and get in a complete work-out without having to wait for a machine. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Thanks YMCA for being there.

We mainly use the downtown YMCA for the fitness facilities as well as the plus locker rooms. We have attended a few yoga sessions and have been very pleased with the class itself as well as the facilities. We love the downtown Y! It always feels like home

Mel has been an amazing teacher now for both of my kids! She is so gentle and understanding, but also so great at correcting them when they need it and including the parents in feedback for what the kids are excelling in and what they should work on. Definitely keep her around!

This is one of the best places in town to participate at.

Camaraderie; community spirit; non-competitive atmosphere; range of classes offered; brilliant and friendly staff. The Downtown "Y" is just an all round great place to be associated with and to exercise the body and mind!

I love playing handball with the other members who play. I have just invited 3 other new people to start playing in the last couple of months, and they have all just joined the Y.

I love racquetball, that's the only reason enroll in the YMCA. I take my 2 children to racquetball clinics every Saturday with coach Kim, they love it too. So please consider the construction of racuetball courts at the new facilities. there's a huge demand of courts. The 7 existing courts get packed regularly
