The YMCA in downtown Fort Worth is very accessible and dependable. The instructors are down-to-earth and practical. They accommodate to the needs of the participants in class. The staff is wonderful. They are very friendly and are always walking around cleaning the machines and helping out newcomers.
personnel very respectful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Love the work out options, availability of trainers. Will take advantage of the other activities offered for seniors.
They are so important for our health care. I enjoy these classes rather than equipment. I feel they are more beneficial to me! I wish I would’ve known about this sooner to have started with this facility. I like that you offer this on the weekends as well. I don’t plan on going anywhere else. You offer everything I need! Thank you :)
Kevin was encouraging and adjusted his training to work around my skill level and anxiety. I learned something new each lesson. The YMCA is a great place to work on swimming skills at your own level.
The staff, equipment, and services are all excellent (10+). The only drawback is the parking situation.
After properly registering my car, I have received parking violation tickets demanding outrageous fines.
While the tickets were handed over for resolution by the staff, it is still a hassle to get it straightened out. Your lot management company either needs to get its act together, or you need to look for another way to manage parking for the downtown Y.
If the problem persists, I will stop using the downtown facility.
I like the people at the front desk, Jared, Sabrina, Laura and all the others. Tim Tarpley is a good personal trainer. Scooter is a hard worker and a good lifeguard. James is kind and a good lifeguard. Other new lifeguards do their jobs well.
I don't like that I sometimes get parking tickets, even though the helpful person at the front desk has uses his/her phone to clock me in. This has happened 3 times, and each time, Jared has taken care of it.
Very convenient and I haven't had any trouble with safety. I wish they were open a little later though as I work long hours. When I with late I have to go to Benbrook, which is more out of the way.
