The Y fills an important need for our greater Easton community, from educational services (2nd grade swim program, reading, summer camps), providing services to those who may not be able to afford them (seniors, families with neuro diverse challenges, BIPOC communities, living with cancer people), and provide health services from exercise and other health-related services, and a social community for all of us. Community can be judged on how they those who have less, and a community with an active Y like Easton shows the best we have to offer.
Nice selection of classes, members and staff are friendly. Jackie’s Zumba Strong is a great class, I wish I had discovered it sooner since it is being phased out.
I do wish the facility was bigger.
the classes in the pool are great! kids zone, the childcare centers, great music throughout the gym, the diverse group classes, the friendliness of their community.
I love the TRX classes I do on Tuesdays at 5 and Friday at 9:15. Unfortunately I have looked ahead for the Tuesday TRX class because I know Kat’s last class is this Tuesday for the summer and last year Jackie took over for the summer and right now I see no class scheduled after Kat. Is TRX going to continue with a sub for the summer if not it will be very disappointing. I also understand the spin class on Tuesdays has no sub for Kat either and several friends who do spin after TRX are very disappointed also. If this could be resolved I would be able to give a 10 because otherwise I love the Easton Y and staff
I take part in the Monday/Friday Stretch and Tone Gold class with Anne McElroy. It’s very popular due to Anne’s knowledge, expertise, experience and personality. I would like a Wednesday session to expand it to 3x a week.
