Everything is so clean in the lobby and all of the massage rooms. Everyone at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Making appointments is so easy, whether at the front desk or when contacting them on the phone. I have always felt very comfortable and confident with all my contacts at this facility, whether on the phone or in person.
Dylan is an excellent massage therapist who will do well in the Burlington location. He greeted me confidently & professionally with a firm handshake. Other men who have given me a massage have greeted me awkwardly, trying to indicate they aren't going to be touching me in a way that would make me uncomfortable, but in doing so, making it very uncomfortable. Dylan did not give any of that vibe at all. He is there to perform a service, and my being female made zero difference to him. This is important.
His questions about what I wanted were good - I knew exactly what I wanted and where, because this isn't my first, or 50th rodeo, and he did exactly what I wanted. His conversation throughout the massage followed my lead. If he needed an answer, he asked his question and any followup discussion but didn't chatter at me.
He is skilled at massage - not Ana, certainly, but no one is as good as Ana for me. He asked about the pressure levels at appropriate times, but it was already perfect. He pushed to the extent it needed and never too much. My fear with any massage is that when pressing on a tight muscle, they will "roll over" it and twist it and cause me pain (I'm sure there's some technical term for this). Dylan pressed on tight muscles and I could feel when it was going to roll, but so did he, and he didn't roll over it and cause me pain. I was able to settle in and relax.
I walked out of the office feeling whole again. I would recommend Dylan to anyone.
Side note: the office was playing Vangelis. I've watched both Blade Runner movies far too often to find it comforting music. I'm sure I'm the only one who thinks of Vangelis in combination with guns and death and futuristic replicants :)
I have been a client of Elements for five years, and have been treated by several different massage therapists during that period of time. Although their approaches and styles vary, those who have treated me over the years do great work and truly care about my well being.
