I came for the pool so that’s the only thing I can really speak to, but it was very nice. I love that lap swimming is open for several hours in the evening. I generally visit Royal Oak and I found their lap hours to be very restrictive. I also love that you have plenty of lanes and the pool seems very nice. The Jacuzzi and sauna are really nice too.
I didn’t have a chance to check out the gym. Royal Oak has the circuit with the wristband and I’m really hoping that you have something similar because I’m not good at self-directed workouts.
The instructor is excellent and you get an invigorating workout. I've built several good friendships in the pool. Add the Sauna feature and it is perfection.
I like being able to exercise in a clean, safe environment. The people there are wonderful and helpful.
One suggestion… have more tall lockers in the locker room.
The pool is great! Lisa teaches aqua deep on Tuesdays and Thursdays - she is engaging, encouraging, and has built a supportive community. Erin is a fantastic guard and leader - she models the professional and kind behavior that the guards can emulate. Jack at the front desk greets people by name and is very solution oriented. Alyssa teaches total body conditioning on Monday and Wednesday mornings. She is very welcoming and really understands the needs of the people in the room and offers feedback and options so all levels get the most out of the class. So many great people taking care of us members!
