Pretty routinely, I request a large scale copy of an image printed to backlit mylar from Stevan at the FASTSIGNS of Herndon/Reston. On one occasion particularly, I requested a reduced size print and the print came out a touch blurry. Stevan was willing to invest his time and energy to work through the challenge - taking phone call after phone call from me to "explain" things like the vector imaging of an Adobe file, the challenges of negative space when printing the color black on the mylar materials, etc. He was kind, courteous, patient with me as I came up to speed on the print world, and helped trouble-shoot the problem - finally landing on the aforementioned challenges. When I came in the very next time for another print of the same file, Stevan was willing to "not charge" for the plots that were blurry - to which I insisted we (DXC) took full responsibility for, and that Stevan continue to charge according to normal business operations. It was the time he took, the level of maturity, class and professionalism he responded with, and the willingness to partner with me to try to meet my print needs that I found exceptional! It is so difficult to find someone with these qualities at a service-based "print shop" - I've tried FedEx Kinko's, NOVA Blue and others and they are simply not there (they seem to only hire order-taking drones). It's because of Stevan that I will continue to turn to FASTSIGNS for my current and future printing needs. Thank you Stevan!
