I had issues from the very beginning with getting the signs for My new offices done the way i wanted them and on the timing i wanted them. I had used Fastsigns for My previous office just 2 years earlier and had expected all my logos, artwork, etc to be on file so i could move ahead quickly and with the proper artwork. However when timing started to become an issue it was only then i was told because of new ownership all My previous files were lost. What? That's ridiculous in this day and age of software, clouds and computers. My rep Diana was very gracious but it took the manager to step in and get my timetable inn track. The next matter was that all the proposals were so basic in design. Just square panels with printing and then that was not cheap. So in the interest of time i was forced to move ahead with that basic style. I waited and when my signs were finally done the price didn't include installation so my husband picked up the signs and installed them as was discussed with Fastsigns by glueing the panels on each side and screwing them to the previous tenants sign. After doing so my husband discovered that one sign had been cut a 1/2 inch smaller than it was ordered making it smaller than the other sign. This left a 1/2 inch on the top of the old sign exposed. My husband didn't catch it when he installed it because the signs were so large and high of the ground. It wasn't till he had it glued up and stepped back 10 feet that you could see the old sign was sticking out at the top. However the glue was already set and impossible to remove the new sign at that point. So at first my thought was to have Fastsigns replace their mistake but afte talking it through with my husband he let me know that there was no way to remove the sign that was the wrong side so he was going to make a worried cap to go over the top of the sign to match the posts and that would cover the 1/2 inch mistake. So that night i sent a text to our rep explaining the issue and saying i would propose instead of remaking the sign (Since wee could use it anyway) for them to give us a $100 credit toward another sign we were having done. I did not receive a message back until late the next day and was told the aluminium for the sign was already order so nothing could be done. What a joke! As a business owner myself i would always rather fix a mistake with a solution for more business than just correcting it and ending a relationship on a very sour note. As a side note the other signs I had them giving me an estimate on were over $1000 but again came back a basic boring square metal signs. But if I would have had a $100 credit I would have used it but now it is even easier to start over with another company.
Sign was supposed to have been installed on our opening day morning - Monday July 17th. Installer arrived w/a sign that was incorrect in size (a mini size). I was told that day that they would expedite the materials, and the sign would be installed on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went - not a peep from Fast Sign. I sent a text to the rep. - again, no response. My new sign was finally installed on Thursday July 20th. I can't stress enough how important communication is w/your customers. Customers take silence in a negative way - most of all that you don't appreciate their business. Opening day for any business is always stressful. The last thing I thought I would have to worry about was my sign. Very disappointed to say the least!
Diane was prompt..drove to Defiance the next day and got the facts pertaining to what we wanted. The signs were done quickly and beyond our expectations for quality. The overall experience with everyone at FastSigns was great and we expect to do more business in the future.
Brooke made this experience very easy. I sent her our logo and they created our signs from there. She made sure the signs were approved, ordered and put up. I would highly recommend FAST Signs to anyone!! Thank you for the wonderful service!!!
