Response From FASTSIGNS® of Newnan, GA

While we truly appreciate the business, I have to say this was one of the most unorganized company we have worked with. I know I was very empathetic to the fact your building burned down and you were trying to reopen in a new location. However, Laura did not return phone calls, and when she finally did, there were always children screaming in the background making it very hard to hear. Emails were always sent as a follow up, however, it would take days for her to respond.
We always tell customers vinyl will not stick to newly painted walls. It takes approximately 30 for paint to gas out. At no time did I say not to paint the walls, nor did I tell them to coat the walls with primer and then sand them. When we arrived for the install, the walls had been sanded but not properly cleaned. The dust was preventing the vinyl from adhering properly, so we installed a portion and said we wanted to make sure it didn't come off over the week end.
The black paint on the windows was not an issue for us. Not sure where this comment even came from.
The biggest issue we had were all the changes and the fact that the credit card declined repeatedly. This job, as all large jobs, required a deposit. Again, the credit card was declined and we could not begin production until a form of payment was received.
You are correct about the measuring and the proof approval. We would never do a job of this size without measuring it ourselves. The first time we came out to measure, nobody showed up to meet us and let us in. Then we finally got into the space a week or so later and measured what we thought were the spaces you intended for material to be installed. At that time, I told you it was important for you to come in and look at the sample because you specifically wanted a certain color and I wanted to make sure you were happy with it prior to print.
I do wish you luck in your new location, but I hope it is managed better than the build out was.
