Response From FASTSIGNS® of Vero Beach, FL
October 02, 2023
Memory,
I am sorry you are disappointed.
Since your last order in February this year, the price for Coro yards signs has been adjusted upwards by 4%. This is $1.27 per sign above what you paid in February of this year.
I have reviewed your account details, including the estimates sent to you for every job in our system related to the purchase of Coro yards signs.
In the fall of 2020, you placed your first order for a Coro yard sign. At that time you received the then-current price of 18 dollars per sign before taxes. The same price we offered to every real estate firm we dealt with as we do not offer special pricing to anyone. That estimate, as with every estimate states that the pricing is good for 30 days.
Since then, following our practice with every job we do at this store, we have sent your firm an estimate based on your request to purchase additional yard signs in various quantities. In every case, the then-current price is stated on each estimate, with the appropriate discount, if any based on volume. You have ordered each time at the current price.
It should be no surprise that your price has increased over the last 3 years post-COVID. Everything in the entire world is costing more. We have kept our pricing in line with the increases that we have been subjected to. Those increases include everything from raw materials, ink, labor, transportation, and inflation.
I am confused as to what price we did not match as you were promised.
In all instances, we have sent you a price, and in all cases, you have purchased at that price.
When you ordered and paid for the last signs you mentioned you needed them in a rush. We had these available to you the next day and you picked them up on the day after.
Feel free to give me a call at the store if you need to discuss.
Gordon
