I love Meredeth's tai chi for arthritis. It has helped me physically and socially. I have met wonderful people in the class. I have enjoyed the advanced tai chi but find it difficult to have to pay extra for it. Every time we request a larger space or another tai chi class we are told there is no room, then we have to pay more because the center does not make it a priority. Her classes are always more than full and as new members keep joining they continue to become even more crowded. I would really like to see more consideration for her popularity and the requests for more classes be honored. That is my only complaint. I have recommended the center to my boyfriend who will be getting medicare wellness services next month. It is a friendly open space and I love that you provide child care. I wish the gyms had had that when my kids were young.
Use water therapy on Mon.x2
Need to have it 3 days a week!
I go to Hendersonville on Wednesday and Friday while the aquatic center is being redone and people from Monday are there and if I am lucky I can get into one of the two classes they have since they are all bucked up
Same in black mountain
I love that I can walk in, workout and walk out. I don't feel judged, can always get on the machine I want and have access to (somewhat avaliaible) childcare. The classes are great and their are facilities (close enough) near by.
I participate in one program and the director/coach is absolutely outstanding. She is always prepared, has multiple activities for us, and adapts activities for those who have significant challenges.
It’s a very friendly atmosphere. The staff is outstanding and it really feels like a big family. You can almost always find equipment to use and most classes have space or a fairly short waitlist. Ferguson also has a wonderful LiveStrong program. Their personal trainers are top notch!
