I find having an appointment keeps me responsible, I go to workout even when I'm not in the mood. I see great health improvements, and especially appreciate the effort made to work around or improve physical problems.
I like the facts my questions are answered and my suggestions are considered. When I arrive, I'm always asked "How to do you feel today?". I also like that I can talk during my workout. The talking makes the work out go faster.
I just signed up for the group workout sessions but now I am faced with there being no room in the classes and having to move to another day which does not fit in my schedule. I signed up for the monthly so I have to attend the 9 classes a month or lose money but now if I can't get into the classes how does that help me and no one let me know I may not be able to get into the classes.
Without an one on one personal trainer, I would not workout. I would of bought a membership to a gym and not used it past the first week. I would not of known what to do or gotten bored with the same initial workout routine they provide with your membership. My trainer gets to know my strengths and weaknesses and works to challenge me in every area. I've been pushed to do things I never thought I would be able to do when I started working out two years ago. I have a love/hate relationship with my workouts...I may hate some of the things I'm pushed to do but love that I have accomplished it!
