I recently came to FT Cary feeling under the weather. My trainer Michele quickly pivoted from our usual workout and gave me several options for a workout that would help me move. She watched over me carefully and made sure I moved but didn't overdo it. I left tired but happy I had come. I also appreciate the fact that everyone at FT Cary knows my name and goes out of their way to greet me and make me feel welcome!
I like the individual training . I feel Ben as my trainer is passionate about helping people and really enjoys his job. I continue feel stronger as I progress in my training .
It's good to work with a personal trainer who can keep you on point even when you get minor tweaks that would be easy to use as excuses not to work out.
Since there is such a substantial investment it might be good to clarify that that the program is geared more towards strength building than weight loss. Also for those who do need to lose weight perhaps a greater focus on partnering with clients on eating plans that will drive greater success in meeting their individual goals.
I’ve been going to this Fitness Together for 4 or 5 years. The goal in that studio is more about functional strength than “body building”. I’m now 82, and I credit the 3x/week sessions with retaining my vigor. Sean, the owner, has modified my training somewhat because I’m planning a 500+ mile bike ride in a few months. I recommend you go over for a free assessment/session.
We really appreciate the flexibility that Sean allows us. As a working couple we often issues come up that requires us to postpone or move our session. Sean always does what he can to accommodate our changes.in our work schedule.
Sean is kind, caring, and great to work with. All of the trainers that I've worked with have been friendly and knowledgeable. I do wish there was a little more consistency in trainers, as I feel like I'm starting from scratch with each, but I expect that will change as I get farther into my program.
Sean is a knowledgeable, attentive, competent trainer. He designs exercises that engage the majority of muscles in my body in one simple movement. He respects the limits I place on what I can do without serious injury. He compliments my efforts and encourages me to press limits. My purpose is to maintain or increase my functional strength for everyday activities including recreational.
I appreciate that the workouts are geared toward my needs with strategic stretches and attention to movements that leave me feeling stronger as I progress yet not aching or in pain.
I couldn’t be happier with my decision to get stronger at Fitness Together with Sean and his staff! It’s all about YOU from the initial free consult to the weekly sessions! Sean is amazing with pairing you with the best trainer that fits to your goals. He is always available, no matter if it’s a schedule change or a random nutrition question, he always gets back to you! (I don’t know about you guys, but good communication is a crucIal for me)
And how can I not mention the other trainers-They push and encourage you at every session! The sessions are completely focused on your fitness level and how you feel at each session. They are not only there to show you how to exercise, but they also explain why and how each exercise is making your body stronger. My favorite part is having them there to correct my form and encouraging me that I can do that last 2-3 reps!
I highly recommend this studio for those that really want to get healthy but can’t do it on their own. Sean and his staff will definitely play their part in getting you into the right direction!
Always impressed by the level of knowledge Sean and trainers I’ve worked with have. Facility clean with large workout suites for personal training. I’ve renewed my sessions several times in the last few years.
It’s very tailored to my exercise and mobility needs. The workouts with my trainer are also diverse so I’m getting variety in the exercises. I am also motivated to get movement on days when I’m not going to a session.
