The studio is very clean and meticulously maintained. The staff is well-educated about physiology and very helpful and caring. Each session is individually planned to give well-rounded personal workouts.
I like that the trainers are totally focused on me and the workout. They stay focused all throughout the session. I also like the fact that they are challenging me to do more and get stronger. It's a very comfortable atmosphere and I feel like I'm right at home already.
Not a cookie cutter kind of place, but personal regimen suited to my needs. I've been going here long enough that I feel as though the trainers and some clients are part of my family. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone here on Long Island to whom I can recommend the place.
Since the day I recently logged in to the client portion of the FT website after 3 months away, I am seeing ads for FT all over my computer. As a long-time client I find it annoying and unnecessary. It's not just been once or twice, but many, many times in the past week. As much as I enjoy the gym, I don't need to see reminders of it in my face almost constantly while I am online trying to accomplish things. For some reason I find it more distracting than a more neutral advertisement, probably since I'm already a client.
