When I walk in, everyone knows my name. It feels like all of the staff are behind me, wanting me to achieve my fitness goals! And, I have lost ten pounds in the 8 months or so that I've been a member. But, more than that, I've gained muscle tone and have incorporated much of what I've learned into my home workout. I highly recommend Fitness Together!
Everyone is so friendly and GENUINE. They really care about everyone's progress and make the workouts fun. All of the trainers adapt very nicely to varying personalities, making for a really enjoyable experience for everyone!
The location is convenient. The facility is clean, well-equipped, and cheerful. All trainers are personable. And, most of all, my trainer (Erskine) is SUPERB: highly-trained and capable, listens well and has obviously designed routines that target my problems / needs. And he's supportive and encouraging.
I appreciate your friendly, knowledgeable staff, individually designed fitness programs, and clean environment. Sessions are challenging and fun. I feel stronger than I have in years, and aches and pain that I had associated with age have lessened or disappeared altogether.
The Fitness Together experience is extremely personal and responsive to my changing situation, whether I'm at the peak of health, recovering from an injury or just having a rough day. As someone who has exercised throughout my life, I was frustrated when I hit my 50s. It seemed there were so many exercises I could no longer do without hurting myself. My trainer, Steve, has helped me to carefully increase my strength, range of motion, and endurance, which is encouraging me to get back into regular exercise.
I like Having a kind fitness instructor who is friendly and wants to hear about my weight loss struggle. For me, it had become difficult to believe it was possible to get fit and healthy again after gaining a large amount of weight. Most of my friends are themselves struggling and now I was like them. My coach encourages my efforts like a team member and give me positive reinforcement. I know that If I didn't have someone pushing me I wouldn't believe I could learn to workout like a pro. In my case, I need encouragement because it takes a lot of focus and knowledge to get my stubborn body and mind to let go of negative beliefs. It's a great concept and I am glad I tried it because I see results!
I've been going to FT Barrington for over 10 years. Matt and his crew have trained me for 7x Pan Mass Challenges, multiple 1/2 marathons, and thrown in a couple of tri's as well ! Great positive energy all the time - and super challenging work outs that they change up constantly. Can't recommend these guys enough!
I especially like how each trainer really tries to customize the workouts to the level of each participant. I like how they seem to have an intuitive sense of how to push just enough in order to challenge and yet they also know how to meet the client at the level that they are currently working at.
