I am well into my 3rd year (with 3 sessions a week) at FT Melrose. I always enjoy my sessions and look forward to my training time (even if I don't feel like training on that particular day). Jesse and Tyler are top-notch trainers. They do a fantastic job at varying my workouts with new and interesting challenges. They are very knowledgeable and explain the how and why of each exercise. They are always in a good mood and make the training fun. They customize my workouts based on how I feel or what I am trying to improve on that given day. Their hard work has improved my golf game (and overall fitness) tremendously!
The individual attention, varied exercise routines, the focus on getting the body in proper shape/alignment to start pushing on increasing strength, flexibility, etc. Also that exercises mimic real-life movements with multiple components rather than abstract, isolated ones.
The studio is clean, neat, well lit, and the staff is always welcoming and ready to go the extra mile. Use of social media is helpful to keep on track of my appointments, get suggestions about nutrition and fitness, invites to events, notice of changes, to recognize the achievements of other clients, and to invite studio clients to participate in giving back to the community. Great communication with the trainers. They are prepared for each session with exercises that are designed for my goals and abilities. They tell me why they chose the exercise showing me correct form and function. They pay attention to details like proper form, achievements, or lapses, energy level and more. They are thinking about what is next for me. They apply current methodologies in fitness and they are continually learning and practicing fitness and wellness in their own lives. Together we create an experience, not just a session.
