Dalton at the Newtonville location is awesome! He pushes us, but also listens if we need to change things up one week. My husband’s back was bothering him one week, so Dalton had us do stretching exercises targeting his back that week.
I also like the flexibility. We have regularly scheduled sessions, and if there’s an opening at another time that works better for us, we can move our session that week.
I came to regular fitness workouts after retirement. I joined Fitness Together and they invited me to challenge myself to rebuild muscles, balance, mental and physical health and fitness. After three years there are still days when I ache, but I now understand this is good growth and rebuilding of ignored muscles in legs, core and upper body. Coaching is gentle but firm. Instruction is simple, clear with hints to avoid any kind of injury. My experience with FT has been so positive. Fitness Together has been life changing for us. Supervised resistance training has reminded us how important it is to restore and maintain our muscles for better living particularly as we age. As well, regular stretching improves our daily movements. We are committed to workouts at Fitness Together, especially our trainer Dalton who encourages and supervises our twice weekly workouts. I am challenged to keep improving my fitness level in a safe and supportive environment. I always feel that my safety is the first priority, but I am constantly being challenged to increase my fitness. Dalton is very supportive and encouraging and has a very pleasant personality that makes the sessions fly by.
