I like that the trainers revamp my program to keep it challenging and ensure that I’m progressing with weights, time or reps. Also, that they ensure I’m using proper form.
Accountability and personalization. The trainers customize the workout plan according to my goals and adjust the plan every 6 weeks to keep the workouts fresh and help me meet my goals. They keep me accountable and motivated. Prior to working out at Fitness Together, I'd tried home workouts, online workouts, and a gym membership, but didn't stick with any of them. I've now been a consistent client at FT for over 10 years.
My trainer, James is excellent. My program is ever evolving and is tailored to target issues and weaknesses I have. His PT background really helps me get the right exercises without fear of injury
I am so pleased with the personal exercise plan I have at FT. I have exercises for the areas that I need to keep strong along with exercises to improve my balance and endurance. One on one training is the way to go.
What's not to like? I have an excellent trainer who tailors the program to concentrate on my muscle imbalance issues and makes adjustments to "fix" my issues. It is almost like going to PT in a workout!
I joined Fitness Together about a year ago because going to a gym and trying to figure out what to do on my own was overwhelming, especially when dealing with a chronic illness. The small group training sessions have helped tremendously with toning, learning proper form, and overall feeling better about myself. My knee pain is gone and my lower back issues have been greatly improved, The trainers, especially Krissy and James, have been encouraging and supportive are readily willing and able to adjust any exercise to accommodate my needs.
I started with my trainer (James) in November and am so happy with my progress! I've gotten some of my strength back, my core is MUCH more stable, and I can participate more in the physical activities I enjoy (hiking, dancing...).
I like the training plans that James comes up with. They're challenging without being too hard. He's always monitoring form and ergonomics so I feel confident to give 100% because I know that I can progress in my fitness without fear of injury
I love how my trainer has really customized my program to my goals. I'm not looking for some kind of unattainable 'revenge body' pipe dream and James knows that. My goal is a level of functional fitness that will take me from today into the next 20-30 years of healthy living. I'm super excited to see where this journey takes me!
