I brought my 12 year old in for her first shoe fit. Her fitter, Kevin did a great job of listening to her needs. He brought her several shoes to try, and addressed her overpronation with an orthotic. He gave her plenty of time to decided which shoe she liked best, she was never rushed. Kevin even took her outside to jog up and down on the sidewalk. Shelly had a great experience, and I think she has found her shoe guy.
I have gone from being a non runner to doing half marathons. I’ve been in No Bo, 10k, trail and half marathon programs. Your pacers are awesome-good at what they do and genuinely nice people. Now I’m a pacer, too. I also buy my shoes there as well as water bottles, nutrition, etc. I’m less likely to buy clothes.
On Tuesday I was able to wear a pair of trail shoes for a 5 mike train run as the shoe rep came out to run with us. I ended up buying two pairs of shoes at FF two days later. So nice to be able to try the shoes for an actual run.
I’ve made great friends through my 6 years of FF experience.
