The store wasn't busy and the associates basically just stood behind me and watched. It was like pulling teeth to get questions answered about socks. If I'm going to pay $12-15/pair for socks someone should be able to tell me why. as a customer i only come in your store a few times a year, but when i do come i only spend $100+. I'm sure your real customers already know what they want so i get it... but i would like the associate to be more helpful and willing to share. The store has had some really good associates in the past so perhaps it was just luck of the draw.
The sales girls at the Montgomery, Alabama store were fabulous. Great customer service and very patient while I made my decision. I only tried on 4 pairs of shoes and I could have gone home with 3 of them! Dee was the sales person who helped me and she was spot on with her selections from me. She got to know me and my feet (I had just had surgery all year ago on my foot).

I ended up with a Hoku shoe and I LOVE it.
The first visit I did not care for, but I was determined to leave with shoes. The associates were busy with other customers- which I totally understand, but didn’t even take 30 seconds to acknowledge me & say they would be with me as soon as they could. Tried on 2 shoes & quickly made a decision and left with said shoes that I was determined to purchase. After 2 uncomfortable runs later I realize that the employee gave me a different size than I had requested. So I had to make a second stop for an exchange. This time it was a complete 180, there were zero other customers in the store. I got one on one attention and the request to use the ifit machine was accepted rather than dismissed like the first time. The associate helped me try 4 different shoes as well as several inserts to get the best fit! While I certainly enjoyed and appreciated the customer service during the second visit- and realize this is all they were trying to do for others while I was in the first visit- a simple acknowledgment that a customer has walked in (even when you’re busy) makes a huge difference in the customers perception of the visit. Thank you to woman whose name I have forgotten that helped me find my perfect shoe/insert combo!!!
