Diego was great and very friendly, scheduling was easy, and the full process was simple.
Prices have gone up a bunch over the last year or two which is disappointing, so I’ll likely be getting my hair cut less frequently.
My recommendation: offer a reduced subscription price option (maybe $25-$30/month), but allows customers to schedule an appointment once/month. If they want an additional cut, they can get it at a reduced rate as well ($25/extra cut). Result = recurring revenue stream, more loyal customers (and better relationship built with their stylist), customers feel like they get a better deal, and quicker haircuts because a) less hair to cut and b) the stylist knows exactly what the client wants. You can argue that you’re making $10 less per cut, but for me personally, I come in every 3-6 months (and sometimes less frequently because I choose to go to another business for convenience or to try someone new), so you make at most $80-$160/yr from me. With a subscription, it would be $300-$360/yr (assuming the $25-30 rate). I just 2x-4x’d your revenues, strengthened your client base, and optimized your barber scheduling/time management. You’re welcome 😀 if you need a business consultant at any point, I’m your guy [PHONE NUMBER REMOVED] - [NAME REMOVED]. Best of luck!
