Laura A. Is wonderful and is the best!

The person who cuts my hair is great!!!

I really like services provided and my stylist was great to talk to.

Laura knows how to do a difficult fade perfectly. Most people leave a line, but she gets the fade right every time.

Easy to schedule and great availability

Easy to make an appointment, lots of qualified stylists, free parking

Wasn’t make appointments, service is a bit slow though. A basic haircut should take no more than 30 min

I have had consistently good results at a very fair price.

Laura A is great

My experience at the shop on Clybourn was great. The stylist Jen was friendly and gave me a great hair cut.

I have been going to Alba for years and she is fantastic. It’s also easy to make last minute appointments or changes in the app as things come up.

Alba is the best!

My last barber at Floyd was exceptionally bad. I guess one time bad experience doesn't reflect the overall service's.

Clean, good stylists and products.

Very friendly and scheduling was easy to do.

Veronica is the best barber i’ve ever had! My haircut always looks great and comes out consistent every time, which is very helpful because i often need to be on camera. Thank you!

Convenience, good service, friendly people

Everyone was great with my kids! They were kind and gave their hair adult-level attention.

Your people are great and their work is excellent for a good price.

Getting your haircut as a trans person can be a sticky situation at times, but when I walk into the Clybourn Floyd’s, I receive warm service that makes me feel at ease and comfortable in the space. I’m always promptly and pleasantly greeted. It’s also awesome to see multiple queer people working there <3 Happy Pride yall. I’ve had Kai as my stylist the last few times I’ve gotten my haircut, and it’s been a great experience every time. Every appointment has started on time (or early in most cases!) Kai takes the time to understand what my goals are for the service, asks questions for clarity, and even makes personalized recommendations based on my grow pattern, texture, etc. Also I want to stress that there are little things that can make all the difference in helping a trans person receive an affirming experience getting their haircut. -Asking how short I want to go with the sides on my mullet -Asking if I want my sideburns cleaned up or left alone. I cannot even express just how shocking it was to once have a stylist buzz them off without asking. I guess it would be like cutting off someone’s rat tail without asking, or giving them bangs they didn’t ask for lol. -Cleaning up my neckline with the razor cut (SO affirming every time omg) -Offering tailored product suggestions with hands-on instructions. That way I know how to upkeep the style after the service and feel as good as I did walking out of the salon as I do walking out of my house. Yall are great. Keep on doing your thing, because you’re doing it right.
