I’ve been getting my hair cut by Carlos Gutierrez at Floyd’s on McKinney Ave in Dallas for over 10 years, and I can confidently say he’s the best barber I’ve ever had. He’s reliable, consistent, and genuinely cares about making sure I’m happy with every cut. He remembers exactly how I like my hair, listens when I want to switch it up, and always delivers a clean, professional result. Floyd’s itself is a great shop — it’s always clean, and I’m greeted warmly by the front desk team every time I walk in. The online booking system that was added a few years ago has been a game changer. It makes scheduling so easy and convenient. Carlos is the reason I keep coming back, but the whole experience at this location is top-notch.

My score of 10 is based on the service provided by barber C. J. (Carlos) at west village, Dallas. He’s amamos at what he does. Very attentive to details and extremely friendly. The place itself it’s nice, the front desk attendant is usually very friendly and welcomes everybody with a smile. The price for haircuts is also a huge plus. Most barbershops in Dallas charge $50 and up. I come from the other side of town because I believe your prices are actually fair. The only thing I would change is the volume of the music. I like the music, but sometimes it’s hard to talk to your barber when the music gets too loud. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a barbershop.
