I just joined because of the membership drive of no initiation fee but I have not been able to enjoy the activities, classes or facility yet as I am still in PT for back injury.
The staff has been so kind and I hope I will be able to begin using my membership soon.
The staff is outstanding! Kat was my coach when I was part of the Coach Approach program. She set me up on a great program that helped me achieve my fitness goals. I lost 15 lbs! She was great to work with and motivated me to reach my goals!
Good workout sessions for family. My wife and I try to go for multiple group classes in the evenings. Kids like the pool.
Front desk has some improvement from last time ,like Karen wishes us when we enter or leave. Becky is kind of getting there sometimes. But has room to improve on her greetings and not be so uptight .it's ok. Always room for improvement.
Overall we like going to the Y.
Doing Coach Approach with Angela helped me kick start a strength training routine last Fall. My motivation and consistency of coming several times a week encouraged my husband to join me. Now we come together several days a week to weight train, and our teens often join us. I'm so thankful for Angela's help and the accountability of the Coach Approach program which got me going, gave me a way to track and report my progress, and reduced the intimidation of the gym / machines I hadn't used since high school. I have surpassed the goals I set in Coach Approach and have (hopefully) made staying healthier a habit. We've also appreciated Larry's help in the gym with questions.
The Y has been part of my life for over 50 years, all over the place, and I love how it still is so welcoming, safe, and fun for all ages. I do not get to visit as much as the seventies, but do have my kids there, and my father, who introduced us all, still lauds the merits of healthy exercise. The programs cover just about everyone, and the Y has been a valuable part of our family lifestyle
