I like the YMCA because it portrays and represents the true & intended meaning of Christianity. It invites & includes all people of all ages, cultures, religions. It is intended to promote a healthy life style, kindness, a varied offering of activities. We are so fortunate to have such a great club in our community.
Carrie is an excellent teacher and a fun person to be around. Her class is effective and efficient.
Kat is also a great coach and got me started within my abilities and work to increase my strength, she is always smiling when I get to her station.
I began going to the Y in January of this year because my membership was covered by my insurance. I started out with some classes for older adults. These were good, but the class time did not fit in with my schedule. I started water aerobics on Sunday afternoons and love it! Pao is a lot of fun and really gives us a workout. I also plan to attend on Wednesday mornings when I am not keeping my grandson.
The one thing I would really appreciate you changing is making the curtains fit the shower stalls. I am not comfortable with communal showers and dressing rooms. I would really appreciate more privacy.
Friendly and helpful staff. Gym equipment well maintained. Lot’s of family activities for all ages. Members are considerate and friendly. It all creates an environment that is welcoming and inviting.
