Facilities are great- staff is usually very informed and friendly. I visit the downtown Y for swimming and appreciate all the lifeguards there. I also visit the 34th street location for the weight room. I appreciate the vibe there. Improvement is needed at the 34th street location for increase in pool hours, making class schedules more visible, wiping down equipment (and asking guests to do so). Thanks!

Classes: Cardio Dance, Les Mills Body Balance and Body Pump. SHAPES also good. I recently participated in a competitive team for Foster with Silver Stars. Hard work but good fun.

Honestly, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is the number one reason. I like the selection of workout machines. I LOVE the warmth of the pool; and, usually there is a lane available. :) I have yet to do any classes or activities. I will probably start with pickleball or a yoga class.
