I love the Y! It’s so nice as a new mom to have childcare included in the membership.
One thing I wanted to note is that yesterday when I came to pick up my son, a caretaker carried a different child over to me and did not ask my name. I told her it wasn’t my baby. It was an honest mistake, but I wanted to bring it up for safety. I’d hate for someone with bad intentions to carry off someone else’s child.
Glen is an excellent personal trainer! He’s both knowledgeable and personable! We’ve set goals and with his support, I’m making progress in meeting those goals by the end of the year.
However, after buying PT sessions for almost two years , I now have to have the Trainer with me when I purchase training sessions. I’ve had my credit card on file for two years, but now I need Glen to co-sign for me? Maybe you can explain the rationale behind this policy change making it more inconvenient for me to give the Y my money? Jim Harris
I’m more than pleased with the help I’m getting from my YMCA trainer Glen. He is fantastic! I feel that I’m on track to make important improvements in my health journey. I was not pleased, however, with the process or lack thereof that the Y used to link me up with the trainer. I submitted YMCA paperwork to request a trainer on June 23, 2025. I got an acknowledgment from the Y shortly afterwards. And then I heard nothing. I let Scott know on September 5th that I had heard nothing since June 23. I am very appreciative of Scott’s follow up. I met Glen on September 8 and was working with him on September 11th.
