As a walk-in customer, I was surprised that a technician was able to address my bike problems immediately. Courteous, knowledgeable, available ... answered questions about my e-bike battery as well as provided maintenance on my bike.

I like that because you have multiple locations nearby there is a chance you will have the thing I'm looking for. If local bike shops are to compete with online retailers one of the benefits you have to offer is the ability for people to get the thing they want same day whether it's clothing, parts, or accessories. Freewheel could still improve in this area, but there currently the best option in the twin cities. Your people are always nice too. They're always welcoming and happy to talk shop with me as a bike nerd.

I came in on Saturday and they were a bit busy so I looked around for what I had stopped in for. Once the employee was finished with the customer he was helping he came over an helped me pick out shoes and gloves. He was apologetic that I needed to wait. I will be back when I am looking for my biking needs.

The products are all the same from bike store to bike store. What differentiates Freewheel from the rest are the people who work there, bicycling enthusiasts who are very knowledgeable and helpful. I recently was at the Eden Prairie store looking for a bike computer. The sales associate, Dennis, was very enthusiastic and while I was committed to buying the computer already, I'm now considering upgrading to other equipment that he recommended. I have been a customer at Freewheel for over 40 years and it's always a pleasure to run into the store, whether its to buy something, browse around, or just talk shop.
