My daughter has been attending Sylvan to strengthen her English writing skills, and the improvement has been remarkable. She’s currently in 7th grade, and since joining Sylvan, her confidence, vocabulary, and ability to organize her thoughts have all grown significantly. My family and I have had a very good experience at Sylvan in Cumberland. The service is great and the staff is always willing to help. My son has really enjoyed coming to Sylvan and working with Ethan. He made the learning fun again even though it was summer time. I'm hopeful our son returns to school with some confidence he has gained from the 1:1 instruction and mentorship.

It has been such a great experience for us!! SC is passionate about enabling my child to reach her goals. They made personal scheduling accommodations to help make all sessions possible, maintained open communication with updates, kept me informed as to her progress and obstacles and took a personal interest in her success. I would highly recommend all around for any child needing a some extra support!

Has been about 4 weeks and so far great. She has to go online due to living too far away but has been very smooth. She is 15 and never complains about having to go online. The staff is great and make it real easy to reschedule for conflicts which is great with a child in multiple sports hope it continues to be so great!!!

Very accommodating, and developed a plan around our needs. Willing to be flexible with their schedules and format. Alex did do better on his Math SAT but did worse on English. But he did not participate in the English tutoring. We only paid for 12 weeks, because we had limited time. If I was to do it again I would have liked to split it up 6 math and 6 English.
