We purchased a new 5th wheel and the staff wasn't pushy. Didn't feel like a used car lot. When we picked it up, they spent plenty of time going over the entire trailer. As well as how to hook/ unhook a 5th wheel.
We had a small window to purchase our RV and they worked with us efficiently to put us in the right RV in the given window. Everything was great and everyone was friendly and helpful.
This is the third RV I have purchased in the last few years. The other two were from Collier RV and Camping World. This was by far the best experience I have had to this point. The two sales associates I worked with, Karan and Jeff, were very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and truly assisted me in making a decision as to what RV would suit our needs best. I should point out, I am not the easiest customer to deal with as I have high expectations for customer service and the willingness to put a lot of effort into negotiating the best deal possible. The sales manager, Mo, did an excellent job of balancing patience, persistence, and not being pushy. He took the time to answer all my questions in a timely manner, provided the best deal possible, and gave me different ways of looking at why the deal he was offering was a good one. Well done Mo! Everyone I encountered through my purchasing experience was friendly, down to earth, and showed they were there to help me through the process. I would highly recommend General RV in Huntley for anyone in the market for a new RV.

Everyone is so nice and accommodating and folks are always open to chip in and help each other. It doesn’t seem like one of those companies where no one knows what’s going on, seems like everyone is in the loop to support their customers. I work in sales and customer service and I appreciate being treated well and with respect.
