We had a leak in our Winnebago we headed to General RV without an appointment. We were traveling from Long Island, NY. When we got there after a 3 hour drive we explained what was going on they said they were completely booked but said they will see what they can do. We waited a few minutes and Will came over and spoke to us an said he will squeeze us in. Will was very knowledgeable and very helpful he explained everything that was going to happen. I wish I could remember the other gentleman that was working with him because he also was amazing. They fixed the leak and we are on our way. I give General RV 100 stars! Thank you
Danny Browder helped us with our trailer service and winterizing needs. He was friendly, professional and made sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner. We will be back in March to get the rv ready for the season.
We had a great experience at General RV Center in Ashland, VA with the purchase and installation of after-market theater seating for our RV. We wanted to make sure the fit would be perfect and it would be placed exactly where we wanted it. Tera assisted with the initial purchase and measurements and was very courteous, patient, and professional; NiAsya (our Service Advisor) was very nice and made sure everything was done to our specifications; Jeannie (the Service Manager) was also very nice and made sure our specifications got communicated to the technician; and our technician (Erik) was very professional and patient with us and made sure the seating was placed in the exact spot we wanted so that I was afforded more room behind the passenger seat so that it would fully recline. The install was done just the way we wanted and we could not be happier! All-in-all, we had a great experience with all these staff people and would be happy to use General RV Center again. We highly recommend them!
Our first time with a maintenance issue on our 2025 Coachman Beyond, leaving us without tank heater in freezing weather. Staff at Ashland fit us in, evaluated the problem, then located the replacement part within a few hours and areanged for a timeslot to repair.

I continue to be disappointed by the cost of service (in this case winterization) and the almost inexplicable delay in getting replacement parts even under warranty (specifically the fuel pump and filter for the generator). Auto dealerships can get these in days, whereas it is taking months to get these RV parts (still not received).
Lori was a pleasure to work with. She was very detailed oriented and cared about our needs. I am traveking form Virginia Beach so its a hike, but the experience was worth the trip. I will return.
Sales department was excellent. However, the service department was very lacking. I don’t believe they attempted to fix any of the pre delivery items that were listed in the 3 days that they had between sale and delivery. None of the items had been addressed when I arrived for pickup and I had to spend probably an extra 3 or 4 hours there while they did take care of them. Even after they did “fix” one of the issues, it was not fixed correctly. So while I would gladly recommend the sales department, I hope I never have to use the service department.
