I bought from General rv Huntley IL. I liked the idea of having multiple vendors across nation. Wasn’t going with camping world. Had an issue with my jacks as I was passing through Richmond. Nikki with service was great. One of the lead techs I was very nice. General RV Richmond is a very nice facility. Great service. They fixed me up and back on the road. It validated why I bought from General RV as a company. When I trade in, I will think about doing so at General RV Richmond.

This was not as good an experience as we’ve always had. 2 service advisors and 3 weeks in the shop. Nikki Heulett is excellent as always but issues could not be resolved timely. Parts availability is an issue and the responsiveness of Grand Design was less than stellar. At this time we are not sure that the issues can be resolved. This is difficult to write because we have always had excellent service. Hopefully the issues can be resolved in the near future.

Very organized, great customer service and above all our sales representative was not pushy. He listen to what we were looking for. The only thing I have a critique about was our walk through. It was done by a very new employee who really didn’t know how to do it. He was very polite and pleasant but we are first time buyers and needed someone with more experience. Over all it was a wonderful experience.

My service advisor April was on top of my service concerns and she was able to get my problems solved in a very timely manner. She worked between Grand Design, Lippert, and General RV to repair my 5th wheel. With all the negative publicity Grand Design has gotten in the recent past, I want to personally thank Grand Design for everything they have done to have my unit repaired. My opinion is, they went above and beyond. The next time my unit needs service, I will request General RV and April by name.
