Most of the clients are there to exercise and not to show off. I feel safe around the open weights. No one really throws or drops weights during the times I go. Plenty of cardio and stretching areas. I like the options of standing tanning booths, steam room and showers when I want them. I don't use them every time and it is nice to include them into my routine when I do. The Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Many of them I know by first name and they know me. It's nice to have a feeling of community or belonging when I walk in through the door and the Staff greet me by name.

I love the community the classes offered engender as well as the Women’s Gym that provides an out of the way area for women to exercise without feeling scrutinized or judged by those in the main gym areas.

I like visiting the different locations and meeting all the different people. Hickman is my original location but await the renovations that are to happen "next year," next year being this year. Is the steam room working? Also, the Mills Civic one needs to fix the whirlpool. That has gone on long enough. There must be plenty of traffic in both locations to cause a lot of rundowns. What can you do to avoid this? I also look forward to the southside updates and seeing how this location could be placed in a mall.

I like the variety of machines - both in the weight room as well as in the cardio room. As a general rule, all of the machines work and are reasonably well kept. Staff is always very friendly and that is appreciated. The other people that are in the room when I work out are always polite and friendly but yet they give me my space to do my own work. The locker rooms are generally clean and the overall appearance of the club is always satisfactory.
