The Y is a great, clean facility. I used the pool and the 50 meter pool is a nice treat.
The community locker rooms are fine but I was worried I would have to wait for a shower room and then I could not change in the shower room because I had to leave so someone else could use it. I imagine at busy times it could be difficult and it must be hard for the kids after swim team practice. A boys and a girls locker room would work better for that with a few community changing rooms available for the kids or families that do not feel comfortable in a boys or girls locker room. Plus the tile floor is very slippery.
Feels like a community space. Though could use some sound dampening in the building which is very loud especially in the kids club room; the way siund travels w/ those high ceilings can be very overstimulating for kids and teachers in that space, as well as in the cafe.
I enjoy the classes. They are difficult but good. I am 83 yrs old and find it challenging but helpful in getting me stronger. Also, I enjoy the trainers when I am taking classes with them. I do enjoy the people as well.
I come for the group exercise classes and have found the instructors to be excellent! Having ample parking and a beautiful facility adds to the experience too.
Beautiful facility.
We asked for Pickellball courts and they jumped right on it.
Tim Flaherty, along with Diane are at the front office as soon as we one walks in , in the morning always with a smile.
Thank you for all your community support
