I am incredibly grateful for the positive experience my children have had at their school, and there are several reasons why I believe it’s the best place for their growth and development.
First and foremost, the teachers are truly caring. It's evident in every interaction, whether in the classroom or during school events. The warmth and dedication they show to the students are unmatched, and this creates a nurturing environment where my children feel supported and encouraged to excel.
The school's open-door policy is another feature that makes it stand out. It is clear that everyone—from the teachers to the principal—is approachable and truly listens to any concerns. This transparent communication fosters a strong sense of trust and partnership between parents and the school, and I always feel that my voice is heard when it comes to my child's well-being and education.
The academic program is both rigorous and rewarding. My children are continuously challenged, which keeps them engaged and excited about learning. It’s not just about mastering facts; it's about fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which will serve them for years to come. It’s refreshing to see them thrive in an environment that constantly pushes them to be their best.
Lastly, the leadership at the school is exceptional. Under the leadership of Dr. Keck, the entire school community exudes a sense of warmth and positivity. I always see smiles on the faces of the teachers, which speaks volumes about the school’s culture. Dr. Keck has created an environment where both the staff and students feel valued and supported. She recognizes the strengths of each teacher, encourages them to take on new responsibilities, and gives them the space they need to grow professionally. This fosters an innovative, fun, and educational atmosphere for the students and allows the teachers to continually improve and bring fresh ideas into the classroom.
I am proud to have my children attend this school. The caring atmosphere, excellent academic challenges, and inspiring leadership make it a truly special place for both children and their families.

My daughter loves HPS. She has never once complained about her teacher. The teachers receive every child with joy in the morning. I love that my child is in a diverse environment where every child feels loved and safe. It is her second year, and she begged me not to transfer her when I wanted to move her to a Catholic school.

What I appreciate most about our experience in school is the way Pre-K provides opportunities to learn new things every day. I also value the life work assignments given at home, which help reinforce what we cover in class. Additionally, the ClassDojo app has been a fantastic tool for staying connected wih the mentors and receiving updates from them.
