I love the track, and I love the pool being open for lap swim any time during the day.
I love seeing all the families and child care and activities.
I love all the drop-in classes.
One downside is the noisy, loud, mechanical, unpleasant chairs next to the seating area of tables and chairs. They make conversation and relaxation unpleasant. And I truly miss the coffee, smoothie shop.
But, all in all I truly love the YMCA and I am happy that it exists!!!
The staff is friendly and helpful and it is clear that they too like being there. The facility is clean and attractive and the air temperatures are well calibrated.
Very personable with the members. Excellent work out atmosphere and room temperature seems to be perfect for me. I sense that there is a cooler and warmer sections of the building which is nice. There's a quiet room to meditate and nice lounge chars to relax. A real nice place to socialize at the Active Older Adults room on Mon. Weds and Fridays. A place to share fellowship. I find the YMCA is a an excellent place to congregate and exercise at the same time. Because my wife and I are seniors, it's not always, that we are in the best of health to be consistent throughout the year in our attendance, but we always recommend the "Y" to all that we meet.
The facility is nice. It’s a beautiful drive from my home. Chair yoga is offered on Tuesday and Thursday, allowing me to enjoy yoga without disrupting my pickleball games the rest of the week.
The Y has everything you need in 1 stop. Experienced coaches at every level. Workout classes, excellent equipment, and an enjoyable environment. What else can you ask for. Yes for Ymca
It’s well staff and very clean and all the equipment is very well maintained just a very friendly place to exercise are bring the grandkids for a swim.
Big clean facility with many different options. I like the fact that I see everyone cleaning their machines after use. I’m interested in how the personal trainer session work
I spend the majority of my visits in the pool area. I want to give a shout out to Zeb. He is always projecting positive vibes. He interacts with the patrons and is very personable. He asks for and remembers names.
I swim and the lifeguards are very responsible when it comes to doing their job protecting all people in the pool area. The pool is clean as are the showers.
I moved to Californio in October 2024, that is why you haven't seen me.
I really miss my Hazelwood YMCA.
The San Mateo YMCA just did not appeal to me and is too far from Half Moon Bay where
I now live.
Wish I were back in Washington!
