I was referred to holtz spa by a friend who has had many massages (with different masseuses) and says they were always amazing. I went in with high expectations (even booked for 80 minutes) but the massage itself was not as thorough as I was expecting. I was extremely cold the entire time, only given a sheet and a small blanket that mainly covered my lower half. My friend described always receiving heated and weighted blankets during her visits. I don’t like to complain so I didn’t mention it but I regret not doing so because it took away from the experience. I also felt like my masseuse was more so just rubbing instead of using techniques during the massage to release the tension. Regardless, she was really nice so I don’t want this to negatively impact her but I have to be honest I probably won’t be back.

The whole experience is always enjoyable, from the welcoming staff on arrival, to the service and the departure, it is always wonderful. I especially appreciate the cleanliness of the spa. I think my favourite aspect of my visits is that staff treats everyone like a VIP. They really are lovely and I enjoy chatting with them during the service.
