We have been extremely pleased with the in home health care worker who has been with my mom. The only reason for not giving Home Instead a 10, is that there is no way to pay the bill online. I pay my mom's bills but do not live near her. So the bill comes to me and I have to write it out the old fashioned way. Write a check, stick it in the mail...remember to buy stamps.
We found the caregivers excellent, some of course better than others. HomeInstead worked with me to arrange a very good and compatible team to take care of me and my husband 24/7. My husband had cancer surgery 4 weeks before my full knee replacement surgery. Once the schedule was settled, we had excellent, caring and competent care. I am making a full recovery thanks to HomeInstead care.
For the most part the caregivers are very thorough and interact well. There are some inconsistencies. Some have better bedside manners than others. Some come up with creative ideas to interact and crafts to do. Others are lazier and treat the person as a client more than a person needing help. Overall however as your type of service goes, you do a very hard job well.
all of the home health aides you have sent have been courteous and helpful. The full time aide that is with us now and has been for several months anticipates our needs and takes good care of them. It is nice to know the same person is coming every day. You develop a very comfortable relationship with them.
I particularly like the office staff, they have been very responsive to our needs and look to provide care when we need care.
The care providers are all trained and have taken good care of us during this most difficult time.
Your staff is reliable, intelligent, highly professional. They do not condescend to my mother, nor do they try to provide more help than she needs. They are interested, well-educated people whom she likes being around.
