Everyone at Home Instead is genuinely interested in the client's health, and the services
you are able to provide. No matter who I talk to, personnel are polite and capable of resolving
any issue no matter how complicated it may get. In times like these, I have found great comfort
in knowing you are there to help.
With the problems in the world right now. I really sit on pins and needles. Not sure if the caregivers will show up. Home instead has been stepping up big time. They are by far the best agency I’ve worked with. My heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful girls with such big hearts.
I like the employees that have been sent to care for my mother. My sister and I have found each employee professional and engaging with my mother.
I appreciate the flexibility of the team when my sister has called for additional days the staff gladly provided the service.
Administration of services--caregivers assigned to me and occasional visits from supervisors--has provided a sustained sense of security which is critical for those of us working through a medical crisis.
Though I wish I had received a brochure which communicated my rights as a client, there's a client journal used by caregivers to chart formulated services provided each visit, but there is no place for the client to write notes and caregivers apparently do not record progress or problems. Perhaps these things are reported verbally to the office? Periodic visits by supervisors do, however, offer opportunities for communicating any issues that may have arisen.
The person caring for my brother is bringing out the best in him. Without the extra help, I don't think my brother would have made the progress he has. He has a new outlook on life and feels more like himself.
We have been so pleased with the level of attentiveness and kindness from the caregivers. I would be remiss if I did not single out Sylvette who has gone above and beyond to build that bond with my mother and make sure she is truly taken care of in the best possible way. Thank you.
