Always attentive and caring to patient needs. Prompt reporting to shifts. Any short notice personnel shift changes were handled promptly and much appreciated by the family. Your staff go the extra miles when families need it in time of loss including going about and beyond finding a new home for the pet cat and shopping for client for grocery items etc.
Staff maintains their composure even in situations where the patient is not very co-operative at times.
We are very pleased with the service provided by your employees. Their energy, understanding and professionalism have been noticeably beneficial to my mother in law. It’s important for us to have some respite once or twice a week and we feel comfortable with Home Instead taking on that responsibility.
Communication is extremely important and Home Instead does an excellent job of keeping me informed. All decisions have been made with our mutual input.
We completely trust this company to continue to deliver , (as they have been doing), quality care with the client and family as their top priority.
The caregiver is exceptionally attentive to my needs. She is able to care for many of the activities that I require such as, helping me with visual problems. She understood immediately what I required, writing instructions in large letters so I can see it. This is the first time in a number of years that I have been able to reply to my friends in emails. Also, the caregiver cleans the apartment faster than the tazmanian devil. She's an excellent person all around.
Home Instead office staff in London are very knowledgeable and accessible.
The caregivers we have had are exceptional. In our case, they have been very kind and patient in assisting our elderly parents, one of whom has Alzheimer’s.
We have used Home Instead for 3 years now to keep my parents safe in the home while we await LTC beds. Providing a consistent core group of caregivers has made a huge difference in the acceptance of "strangers" into their home.
The caregivers are kind and patient with my parents despite the dementia that sometimes makes them less than easy to deal with.
Until the pandemic began in March 2020, I regularly visted my elderly parent twice each year; we often arranged important appointments to coincide with my visits. Now, I am unable to visit at all because my parent resides in a different province than I. (I am also more than 1800 klms away by car). Consequently, I depend entirely upon Home Instead to provide my parent with companionship services, as required.
At 85 my Mom is living in her own home, and it had become quite urgent that we secure some in home assistance for her. I made a list of agencies and commenced reaching out to them in an effort to do so, only to be turned away with the explanation that they "didn't service that area" and/or suggestions to call a different location. With a growing sense of despair, I continued down my list to my first contact with Home Instead. The response I received immediately eased my anxiety and made me feel ... welcome, and a meeting was swiftly set up. Our meeting with the Location Manager was likewise welcoming and I had a great sense that Mom would be in good hands.
Mom tells me that she is very happy indeed and looks forward greatly to the visits from her Home Instead companion.
Thank you so much!
