Of the three times I have had someone in my home, one was late 15 minutes (she claimed she was given the wrong address). Normally it would not have been a problem but I had a doctor's appointment and had to leave immediately.
Maybelle was the care giver twice and was EXCEPTIONAL!! I want to keep her, however was advised a new caregiver was being assigned, effective 9/19. I requested that Maybelle be assigned, was told it was not possible and my request was denied. My husband does not do well with change. If reassignment of caregivers is too frequent I will have to reevaluate your services.
The office staff is very accommodating and helps set or change schedules as needed. They are always pleasant. The caregivers are patient and helpful with my father, who, due to his dementia, can sometimes be difficult. The are caring and accommodating as well.
Emily Barker and Patty Connor are the greatest caregivers ever. Whatever you're paying them is not near enough. They are compassionate, patient, and anticipate needs before they're asked. they have gotten my family through the last 2 years of my mother's illness and been great friends for me and my family.
Your office personnel always respond quickly to my requests for a caregiver. They are kind and caring.
The caregiver we have had is an amazing, compassionate, giving person. She always makes my Mom and me smile. She also takes good care of my little blind dog😇
I know my Mom and my dog are in excellent hands with her and I can leave the house with no worries!
Rick P. is very dependable who does a wonderful job taking care of my mom who is 103. Rick is a very caring person who assists her in every way possible, no job too small or there isn't anything he wouldn't do for us. He is very knowledgeable in her care, his use of a lift, encouraging her to eat and drink, and is willing to adjust his schedule to help us when needed. We are very comfortable leaving mom in his care.
Very accommodating, they truly try to please us in our request. The one lady we have she interacts with my father-in-law spends time with him doesn’t just dispense the pills and avoid him- make sure he’s ok -plays games with him-she calls us if anything‘s wrong or good - this program has been a big help
just wish we could have more hours and not have to be the minimum of three but I understand -
I called several companies looking for caregivers, Home I stead was the only one that actually seemed to want my business and immediately responded and sent someone to meet with me and discuss their service.
I have found compassionate help and personalized attention during a number of very stressful times following my elderly father's numerous hospitalizations. I have been grateful to feel like I was not alone. I do not have experience with any agency other than Home Instead. My point is that I have never felt the need to contact anyone else. I believe this to be a great recommendation. My Dad's primary physician in Simi Valley gave me the initial recommendation for Home Instead after hearing positive feedback from family members of other patients.
