I like the programs geared about our health. Giving us pamphlets with questions on what to ask doctors. Write our questions down in advance so as seniors we won't forget. Having a variety of exercise classes so we can choose.
The only reason I have it an 9 and not 10 is because I was hoping I could do a workout class that morning when I came in, but when I arrived and asked, there was no classes until later in the day. Wish there was more morning classes, but love that this gym isnt super packed like Tellepsen. Its way more peaceful here
My honest opinion is as soon as we walk into the building we are greeted by the most friendliest employees like Ms Krystal that they even recognized my kids every time we come in as well as the childcare watch area.
The teachers are awesome, and my children enjoy waiting in the kid watch area while I do a physical workout. They always do new activities and can’t wait for the next one the following day with Ms.Lee
Also, I currently do Zumba and step class and I rated 10 out of 10 my instructors are so active and even caring when it comes to our health. They not only take this as a class, however, they guide you on how to better yourself and recommend you on doing some healthier choices. Currently my daughter is in the cheerleading team and she enjoys meeting with her friends and her cheer instructor as well as the volunteer every week. Right now we just signed up for summer camp and swimming lessons and they are extremely excited to take on those tasks. I highly recommend the Texans YMCA.
I attended a fantastic cardio dance class. Really enjoyed the energy, sense of community, and it was a great workout. The facility was clean and well designed. Multiple community events were occurring at the time of my visit and it was fun to see so many groups of people laughing and enjoying time together.
