I gave 6 children at Huntington for various reasons and have seen wonderful results in all my children. They are able to motivate and see promise in each child and treat even challenging kids wonderfully. They always have positive things to say, which is a rare treat. Usually when you are meeting to discuss academic progress and associated maladaptive behaviors, everyone walks away feeling like a failure, but not here! They impressively find a way to connect with each child and insightfully make a difference.

I liked the in depth testing to understand how much my son knows and what level he is with reading and math. I haven’t see too much of the lesson, as those are private with the teacher, so I cannot comment on that.

The representatives up front are kind and helpful. The tutors for my son have been great. We needed to make one tutor change to fit my son’s learning style better and that change happened quickly and worked out great!

Charlize has really connected with a female there who wears heart glasses and colorful clothes and teaches her English. Moreover, she has really appreciated the man she works with who teaches her math, she loves when she gets him because she UNDERSTANDS what he is explaining. She says that he must be a math teacher at a school or something. :)

It is affordable for private tutoring. The people are nice. I really like the office manager Serena. I need to give the tutoring more time to see how it helps my child, but so far I am happy. At three weeks in we had a little evaluation to see how my child is progressing. I think meetings like this are important. Huntington is also very flexible on the schedule which is appreciated.

My kids have been at Huntington for the past seven months, and in that time, they’ve shown real improvement in both math and English. They’re more confident at school, and I’ve appreciated the time spent with the teachers. One of the best things about Huntington is how flexible they are—whether it’s a school event or something unexpected, they always work with our schedule. The staff has been great to work with—professional, kind, and easy to talk to.
