My son needed help with 8th grade math that he did not understand in school. He said the math teacher at Huntington makes it so easy to understand and learn. He is able to do all the work by himself now. We did 5 full weeks of math every day 2 hours each time. It is expensive but it was worth it. My daughter just started this week. She is in 2nd grade, and we had an awful 1st grade the teacher said that is not the teacher's fault that she can't read or preform at grade level. We hope that we will have a better year this with her going to Huntington.

The teachers are focus on the weakness of your child and they definitely work on their weakpoints on a One on one level. They teaches the techniques an all scenario off a problem. My son has definitely improved on his math skills and I will highly recommend Huntington Learning Center

Angela and the entire staff at the Carle Place location have shown nothing but genuine concern for our daughter Peyton. From the moment we walked in we were treated with a kindness and respect rarely found these days. Angela takes the time to advise and explain every step of the program. Based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend HLC to anyone!!!!

When I first enrolled my daughter in this program, the director was not very nice and rigid. I asked the former director if they could modify the program, so my daughter could just focus on the Algebra to prepare for the Regents, because that was the purpose of paying such a large sum of money for tutoring. She wanted her to continue working on building her skill set in math and reading. She refused to compromise and told me that would be more $$. My daughter was failing in Algebra a few weeks after she joined this program, and wasn't progressing at all. Thankfully she left, and Angela (new director) came onboard. Angela recognized and agreed that my daughter needed to focus more on the Regents Algebra curriculum, and my daughter has improved significantly the past 4 weeks! My daughter has improved by 10 points on the mock algebra regents exam. Her confidence is up, and she is using the tools taught by the tutor. I am thankful that Angela listened to my concerns, and acted on them immediately. I want to commend Angela for her foresight and concern for my child. She is excellent, and I will recommend the carle place office to my peers. Gina who assists her is also awesome!

The teachers are very kind and always willing to help. They put their students first in all aspects of study! Always there to help in challenging studies. My child was not able to read fully until she started Huntington Learning Center. Now she is doing so well in Reading, Comprehension skills etc. Thank You to all the teachers who take the time to work with my child / students.

My daughter was struggling with Chemistry. She is an excellent student and puts a lot of effort into her work but could not seem to walk away from the class lessons with a good understanding. After one session, she got a 93 on her next test. Needless to say, we are very happy with the services.
