We love that Huntington learning center figures out what prior knowledge is missing and works on filling in those gaps! Our child was struggling with understanding written passages—even reading directions! The time spent on finding the main idea versus important facts as well as building reading stamina and vocabulary has helped tremendously. Our kid never complains about going to tutoring and is so happy to now be a straight A student! This program has been a great fit for our kid!

My child's attitude has changed toward school since being at Huntington. She is more confident in her abilities and does not clam up like she had been. It makes me feel that Huntington has created an environment that feels safe to my daughter, so she may express herself without worry. She would always come home and tell us she was afraid to ask for help, because she didn't want to get in trouble for being confused. Huntington's teachers are patient and kind. In just a few short weeks, she was making great leaps with her comprehension. My daughter does not mind going to tutoring either. It is something she looks forward to and to me, that is an amazing part of the services provided at this facility.
