We tried several tutoring services in Pitt county before enrolling at Huntington. My 4th grader has been receiving tutoring at Huntington for over a year now. He got all A’s for the first time ever this last quarter. I attribute his success in part to the help he has received at Huntington. We initially started tutoring due to reading and comprehension delays but our son is now on level for his grade. We have also been working on his writing with a program called super sentences a super paragraphs. I am extremely grateful to Huntington and staff for helping my son gain confidence and even excel in school. They have a group of knowledgable effective tutors, are flexible, and celebrate the students various accomplishments with them. You can tell they care about all their students. What I like most about Huntington is that they set specific and measurable goals and keep papers/evaluations to measure each students progress which they routinely review with the students. You can review exactly what your child does during each session and see progress! Huntington has been a great investment in our child’s education. My son used to get so frustrated when he had to read and write. Not anymore!!

My kids have been going to Huntington for years. The owner is kind. Great tutors. No issues. I would recommend to anyone looking for tutoring or enrichment for their child.

Everyone has been very polite, patient and helpful with setting up tutoring for our daughter. The tutors have been friendly and encouraging in how they explain what is being learned/re-learned. We are very happy with Huntington Learning Center and would be confident in referring anyone for services.

The program is custom to each child and tracks along with their schooling and at the same time pushing them academically.

I really like that everyone my son works with takes the time to get to know him and who he is. The owner really shows that she cares for all of the kids that come in for services, and wants them to succeed.
