Although Mason wouldn't choose to go to tutoring on his own. I have noticed a difference in his class work. He is slowing down, taking his time and putting in a lot more effort at school. He is also able to use the skills he is learning at Huntington to apply to his classwork- including finding the main idea, and supporting ideas, improved use of vocabulary, grammar, and handwriting.
Thank you for your patience and caring approach with him. He enjoys all the tutors he works with.
I am very pleased with my son’s progress. He was extremely resistant to tutoring but now says his tutor is “Amazing!” Before COVID he had brought his math grade from an “F” to a “C.” I am quite certain that if school had not ended he would have brought it up to a “B.”
My child is happy to attend Huntington to obtain help with his school work and he is not complaining about it.
Each and every session is tailored specifically upon my child's needs.
I don't feel like we are wasting time going through a one size fits all program.
Huntington is very easy to schedule time with during the summer. Pretty easy to schedule with during the school year.
Very accommodating when scheduling parent feedback sessions.
Very cordial and friendly staff.
My son has been with Huntington Learning Center for two years now. He has gained more confidence in learning more than ever because Huntington has taught him the skills. We have tried other learning centers but Huntington has the most professional people I’ve ever met. The qualifications and dedication of their team is exceptional. They have the most efficient support system. They have proven that my son matters to them and they care about his success. My son is motivated in learning more than ever, idolizing his teachers from Huntington. They’ve been helping my son in his struggles in Math and Reading Comprehension. From grades C, now he’s getting A’s!
The one on one teaching was exactly what my daughter needed to understand and feel confident in Honors Algebra 2. The first week of school, she failed two quizzes. After a Saturday session at Huntington, she took a test in class on Monday and scored a 91. She has a renewed desire to put forth the effort to succeed.
My daughter got to work with several tutors and get the benefit of each and every one of them. The hours were flexible and she was able to fit them around her schedule, which was nice. Most of all, she was able to raise her ACT by 3 points, which should help her get better admission and scholarship odds.
