I am very happy with the staff at Huntington Learning as they continue to provide their services with patience, care, and understanding for their clients. My adult son has done and continues to do amazing while learning how to read, write, and do math when many thought he would never be able to learn in these areas. Thank you.

The teachers at Huntington are experts at raising the achievement of students who are below grade level. They will develop a plan uniquely tailored to each child’s unique strengths and weaknesses, which makes for very efficient use of time during sessions. On top of that, they are good at encouraging and motivating students. Our son feels that Huntington has helped him become a better reader!

Huntington does a good job of developing a curriculum that is matched to the student’s unique needs. Such a targeted approach allows the student to make progress and gain confidence. The patient, kind staff are very skilled at motivating those who are not yet on grade level.

The teachers know how to develop a personalized curriculum and target the child’s needs-our son ‘s reading level is already starting to improve. They seem to do a good job at motivating and encouraging students who are not quite on grade level in school.

This is a great center and an exceptional program! I was skeptical at first but my husband and I decided to give it a shot after going back and forth with various tutors for over a year, who had limited success. My son who just ended third grade, was significantly behind in all areas. He had to quarantine several times over the years and has special needs. He is catching up so quickly now and is feeling much better about himself after we began this program back in January. The staff are extremely accommodating, friendly, and caring. They always go out of their way to make my son feel comfortable when he goes for his sessions This is a data driven program. Every month we have progress monitoring meetings with Chris, who gives us a thorough overview of his progress. Chris, Erin, Frank and all the teachers over at the Patchogue office are the best of the best! As being an educator myself I am very careful of who I say that about. You can’t get better than them! They are o professional and knowledgeable! If you have a doubt about this program let go of it now! You won’t be sorry. It’s worth every dime and is an investment in the life of your child.

I like the idea of one on one service that is offered. The idea that there are NO computer interactions is even better.. I was impressed with the in house evaluation. They cover all subjects and it's provided up to the 12th grade. It's a little pricey...but hey..it's your child's education 😉

I would have been happy with tutelage and practice tests, but HLC goes well beyond. They analyze the student's test results, identify trends, strengths and weaknesses and give helpful feedback. In addition, they are very accommodating as far as schedule changes. My child has benefitted greatly from HLC's guidance; I would recommend enthusiastically to anyone!
