Huntington has been efficient, flexible but structured at the same time, and organized. I love how the program and homework is structured for my daughter. The owners are amazing and very accommodating. I also think they are vested in my daughter’s success!

My son was woefully behind his grade level and to make matters worse I couldn't get him motivated to try harder. I saw the pressure mounting up so I decided to try tutoring. Of the 3 places I called Huntington was the only one who actually listened to my entire dilemma. They showed empathy through some personal disclosure of how they had gone through the same type of issue and decided to create a system to help as many kids as possible. I took a chance and it paid off! Within the second week I saw not only an improvement in my son's comprehension but more importantly HE WAS EXCITED!! His confidence continued to grow each week. But what REALLY impressed me was the meeting last week where Ms. Samina wanted to meet to go over Jack's progress and discuss his continuing plan. Although, Ms. Samina has been nothing short of wonderful up to this point I said to myself, "Well, here comes the sales pitch to buy more sessions or additional programming." I'm embarrassed and proud to say I couldn't have been more mistaken! My wife was so impressed with the time Ms. Samina spent going over our son's progress. Good points and things still needing improvement. She submitted a plan to focus on specific areas needed for the remaining sessions. The time she spent with my wife in the meeting and the personal attention they gave to my sons lesson plan was beyond anything I could've wished for. I can't say enough on how much Huntington Learning Center in Pearland has helped my son and our family as a whole. Thank you so very much!

I like the overview of what is needed for the student to pass the ACT or SAT. The cost is quite high and I am waiting for the results after taking the exam, but as of right now in the middle of the process with 6 weeks left, I am satisfied with the program.

My son has been coming here for a little over a year. Initially he was struggling with school, and he was falling behind. I tried to tutor him myself, but I didn't know how to explain the material so that he could comprehend it. I began researching for outside help and saw tutor centers in the area. I chose Huntington because of the good reviews I read and also, they do not send home worksheets to do outside of tutoring sessions (which I read that other tutor centers do). Huntington sat with me and explained in detail how they work. They did an initial evaluation on my son and showed me what areas he was behind in and what areas he was at grade level. They discussed their plan to help my son get caught up and he did, plus he was even a bit ahead. His teacher at his elementary school even told me my son is reading above his grade. My son also enjoys coming here and when he does homework, he even shows me what techniques he learned from his tutors at Huntington. Homework time at home has also improved compared to pre-Huntington. Before Huntington homework/classwork was a battle because my son didn't understand, and I was confusing him with my explanation or attempt to explain. After coming to Huntington my son has become more independent with schoolwork and rarely asks me for help. I also like that they have teachers as tutors, their tutor sessions are 1 on 1, and they assign different tutors so that your child can learn different teaching techniques. We are very pleased with our experience and are happy with the investment we made for our son's education.

We love the fact that Miss Samantha can always find a tutor for our kids with their specific skill sets. She’s very professional and courteous and always very accommodating to our kids’ erratic schedules, especially with sports and after school extra curriculums. Our 9th and 8th graders sometimes hit a snag in their class subject but we can always count on Miss Samantha to find a tutor ! I’ve recommended Huntington Pearland to all of my friends and my kids friends!
